Shirley by Charlotte Bronte (REVIEW)

Next, I want to start reading:

so many to choose from, but I think it will be East by Edith Pattou

    I think you’re to be congratulated for making it through Shirley! I’ve tried it a couple of times, and never have been able to struggle through. But I enjoyed your review very much.

      I really had to order myself to stick to it when I started, but I began to enjoy it about 1/4 of the way into the story and then I couldn’t stop.

      It’s a great story thus far, and I’m really glad I picked it up after reading a few of Charlotte’s works. The author makes some clear connections between the works and the life.
